What the data says
An overview of the public data behind DXCM.
DXCM closed at $92.34, essentially at the top of its 52-week range of $54.11 to $92.56 — the stock sits within a quarter of a percent of its high, and that range spans roughly 71% from low to high, so the past year has covered a wide distance rather than trading in a narrow band.
At a $34.8 billion market capitalization, the shares trade at about 37 times trailing earnings and roughly 30 times forward estimates, a gap that reflects expectations of higher earnings ahead. The price-to-book multiple near 13 is a function of an asset-light balance sheet relative to the market's assessment of the business. Underlying profitability is real: a 20.1% profit margin on 13.1% revenue growth means the company converts a meaningful share of a growing revenue base into profit. A beta of 1.41 indicates the stock has historically moved more sharply than the broader market in both directions.
Recent coverage splits between company-specific developments and sector-wide framing. Company news includes a pediatric expansion for the over-the-counter Stelo glucose monitor in June 2026 and a 2030 growth outlook laid out in May 2026. The rest is broader: multiple third-party market-sizing reports on blood glucose monitoring and non-invasive glucose devices, plus roundup pieces on healthcare's rebound and seasonal market patterns that mention the stock among several others. The balance of headlines leans toward the industry backdrop rather than discrete events at the company itself.
