What the data says
An overview of the public data behind VISN.
At $11.21, the stock sits near the lower end of a 52-week band that runs from $9.47 to $20.55 — roughly 18% above the low and about 45% below the high. That is a wide range for a single year, and the current price sits closer to the floor than the ceiling, so the past twelve months have covered more than a doubling from trough to peak. A beta of 1.99 fits that picture: the shares have historically moved close to twice as much as the broad market in either direction.
On the pricing side, a market capitalization of roughly $2.59 billion against a forward price-to-earnings ratio of about 16 puts the market's expectation of next year's earnings near the middle of the usual range for the sector, while a price-to-book ratio of 1.03 means the shares change hands at close to the accounting value of the company's net assets. Profitability is thin rather than absent — a net margin of about 3.7% — and revenue is essentially flat, down roughly 1.4% year over year. The combination is a business converting a small slice of sales into profit, with the balance sheet, not earnings growth, doing much of the work in the current price.
News flow is sparse. The only recent item on file dates from March 2026 and is a piece of market commentary built around a $6 million purchase by an individual investor in a stock that had risen 272% over a year — general-interest coverage rather than a company filing, product announcement, or earnings release. With nothing more recent attached, there is little in the public news record from the past several months that speaks directly to this company or to conditions across communication equipment more broadly.
