What the data says

An overview of the public data behind TTMI.

At $130.14, TTM Technologies sits roughly in the middle of a very wide 52-week band that runs from $39.20 to $223.83. The stock now trades at more than three times its low but around 42% below its high, and the sheer breadth of that range — the peak is nearly six times the trough — points to a share price that has swung dramatically over the past year rather than trading in a tight, settled zone.

The market currently values the company at about $13.7 billion. Its trailing price-to-earnings ratio of roughly 72 is far higher than its forward multiple of about 24, a gap that reflects expectations of much stronger earnings ahead relative to what the trailing period captured. Price-to-book stands near 7.5. Profitability is thin against that pricing, with a net profit margin close to 6%, even as revenue has grown about 30% year over year. A beta of roughly 2.1 indicates the stock has historically moved about twice as much as the broader market, which is consistent with the wide trading range noted above.

The most company-specific item in the recent news flow is TTM's announced acquisition of two privately held, European-based businesses, the Swiss Technology Group AG and ILFA GmbH, reported in June, alongside an earlier piece noting the stock rose more than 15% in a single session. Much of the remaining coverage is broader in scope rather than centered on TTM itself, touching on artificial-intelligence stocks, large-cap gainers, and ETF performance across the technology sector, so the wider industry backdrop features as prominently as the company's own developments.
