What the data says

An overview of the public data behind MNPR.

At $108.35, the stock sits near the upper end of a 52-week range that runs from $29.18 to $116.685 — close to the high, and roughly four times the low. A band that wide over a single year describes a stock that has repriced dramatically rather than drifted, and a beta of 1.475 fits that picture: it has tended to move about half again as much as the broader market in either direction.

The valuation figures reflect a company that is not yet earning money. Forward P/E is negative at about -34.6, which is what happens when the earnings estimate underneath it is a loss rather than a profit, and the reported profit margin is zero. That leaves the price-to-book ratio of roughly 5.4 as the more usable anchor — the market is carrying a roughly $726 million capitalization on a book value several times smaller. In practical terms, the figures show a business valued on what its pipeline might become rather than on current results, which is the standard shape of a clinical-stage biotech's numbers.

The recent news flow is company-specific rather than sector-driven. It splits into three strands: clinical data disclosures, concentrated on ALXN1840 in Wilson disease and presented at EASL 2026, AASLD 2025, and in a Journal of Hepatology letter; routine quarterly and full-year financial reporting through the first quarter of 2026; and capital raising, including a $135 million underwritten offering of common stock and pre-funded warrants priced in September 2025 and a $19.2 million public offering in October 2024. Notably, the headline clinical news over the past year has centered on the Wilson disease program rather than on the radiopharmaceutical candidates described as the lead pipeline.

About Monopar Therapeutics Inc. Common Stock

Monopar Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Wilmette, Illinois, founded in 2014. Its work centers on oncology, with a pipeline built largely around radiopharmaceuticals — drug candidates that pair a targeting molecule with a radioactive isotope for either imaging or treatment. The company's lead program is MNPR-101, a humanized monoclonal antibody directed at the urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR), a target expressed on a range of advanced solid tumors. MNPR-101 is being developed in conjugated forms: MNPR-101-Zr, an imaging agent paired with zirconium-89, and a radiotherapeutic version paired with a treatment isotope, both in early-stage clinical work. Monopar has also worked with outside partners, including Excel Diagnostics and Nuclear Oncology Center on its MNPR-101 imaging and therapeutic candidates and NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes on radioisotope supply and development, and it previously held rights to ALXN1840, a candidate for Wilson disease licensed from Alexion.
