What the data says
An overview of the public data behind AXSM.
At $217.99, the stock sits in the upper part of a 52-week range that runs from $96.09 to $260.19 — roughly 16% below the high and more than double the low. That span is wide, and a range where the top is nearly triple the bottom describes a stock that has repriced substantially over the past year rather than one that has traded in a narrow band.
The market values the business at about $10.9 billion. The company is not yet profitable, with a net margin of -26.6%, so the 36.4x forward price-to-earnings figure prices earnings that are expected rather than earned to date; revenue is growing at 57.4% year over year. Price-to-book stands at 198.7, which reflects how little of the valuation is tied to balance-sheet assets — a common pattern for a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company whose value rests on approved products and pipeline programs. Beta of 0.73 indicates the shares have moved less than the broader market.
Recent news flow is mostly company-specific and clinical or commercial in nature: the start of the FOCUS-3 Phase 3 trial of solriamfetol in adolescents with ADHD in late June, new Symbravo data presented at the American Headache Society annual meeting, a migraine-awareness partnership with the Headache Alliance, and a July 14 notice that second-quarter 2026 results are scheduled for August 10. Alongside those sit several general market-commentary articles that mention the stock among broader lists, and one headline about an unrelated company, so the coverage is a mix of primary corporate updates and wider financial-media pieces rather than sector-wide developments.
