The Toronto-Dominion Bank, commonly known as TD, is a Canadian bank founded in 1855 and headquartered in Toronto. Through its subsidiaries, it offers financial products and services in Canada, the United States, and other markets, organized into four segments: Canadian Personal and Commercial Banking; U.S. Retail; Wealth Management and Insurance; and Wholesale Banking.

Retail and business customers use TD for deposit accounts, credit cards and payment processing, mortgages and other real estate secured lending, auto and consumer finance, and point-of-sale financing for vehicle and recreational vehicle purchases, alongside cash management and international trade services. The wealth and insurance businesses cover direct investing, advice-based planning, and asset management for retail and institutional clients, plus property and casualty and life and health insurance. Its wholesale arm provides capital markets and investment banking services, including debt and equity underwriting, merger and acquisition advice, and trading and investment services for corporations, governments, and institutions.
